This month our focus is on About Face Electrolysis Clinic in Glasgow, which has been owned and managed by Helen Graham since 1986.  They are specialists in hair removal and treatments include electrolysis, IPL [Laser] and waxing. About Face offer all clients a free, private electrolysis consultation with no obligation.

They also specialise in Advanced Electrolysis for use in removing red veins, skin tags, warts & verrucae, whiteheads, blood spots, pigmentation marks [age spots] and moles.

All beauty treatments are also available including facials, non-surgical face lift, manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, and tanning.  Complementary therapies such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and Indian Head Massage,

The staff is made up of 9 electrolysists/therapists including Helen. All About Face staff take post graduate exams to become registered members of The British Institute & Association of Electrolysis [BIAE].

“I also believe it’s important to keep up to date with all new developments within the industry. That doesn’t necessarily mean taking on every new gimmick, but being aware of what is available and giving it consideration. For example, we took on IPL for permanent hair reduction last year and this year upgraded to treat skin for rejuvenation, vascular blemishes, acne and pigmentation. I know IPL has been around for some years now but I wanted it to be tried and tested before we took it on at our salon.”
